How does it look?! Does it look Greek to you?! It's Hebrew!! It's a fascinating language...it's the orginal language of the old testament text...I'll be reading closely one of the books contained in this section...viz. the Song of Songs or is it goes in transliteration [sir ha sirim] the "s" with an "x" sound...i'll be critically analyzing the text and parsing a couple of so called problematic verses whereby it is not as clear cut who is who?! this can only at this stage be claimed to be inferred upon various sound suppositions that the context itself give out. Well it's quite of a complex issue which I still have to figure out in the long run as I set the ball rolling...
This is not an easy task at all...Well I never thought it were but I never knew it were as tough.
But still I'm gonna push myself to the limit to make it!
Today was quite of a fruitful day...I had a presentation this morning of the research paper outline and I still had to print out and copy the handouts which I thought would become handy for my colleagues to follow me through. Well I was somewhat late for there was some other people photocopying and there were not another vacant machine...but still I did make it and all went well...it was well received and I also had some constructive feedback which shed some light upon some grey areas...which is good!!

After then I headed to the library and started off with some research...looked up some books which I still have to consult as they are at the Arts Library which close to my college...and then I had lunch with a couple of friends from Holland and Romania [Transalvania] to be precise @ an ALMA restaurant...I had fish for a change...I don't usually get to eat fish but I just decided to have some fish...it was delicious!! Then headed back to library to hit some other books...and then had a very fruitful meeting with Profs. Pierre van Hecke...an expert in various fields but most especially in languages....he teaches some seven languages, hebrew, greek, latin, syriac, phoenician and others [to name just a few]. I'll be following some Hebrew classes with him if only he can get to offer it in English as it is officially offered @ the Arts Faculty whereby they don't have an English Programme so all the classes are given in Dutch. But he promised that he will work out something for me. He is after helping me out. He is simply a gift unto to the world...

A blessing...! After that back to the library...and after I had classes from 5pm till 7pm then I headed home prepared dinner ate and now I'm working on a paper which I have to submit by Wednesday...in the meantime I also have to study for the Greek test...do my laundry attend to various meetings...do some shopping...run some other errands before I get to head back home in three days...

enough of this...off to bed...
